The Android app Gujarati GK Quiz - PrepWiser (package in.prepwiser.gk) is run by PrepWiser, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who can use the app
The app is meant for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
3. A free app, paid for by ads
The app is free to download and use. It is paid for by ads from Google AdMob, as described in our privacy policy. There are no purchases in the app. We may add, change or remove features over time.
4. About the questions and facts
The questions, answers, explanations, facts and current affairs in the app are for learning and practice. They are drafted with the help of AI tools and checked against public sources before they are published. Even so, they may contain mistakes or go out of date.
Please do not rely on the app as a source of official answers. For exams, recruitment and anything else that matters, check the official syllabus, notifications and answer keys from the body that runs the exam. If you spot a mistake, use "report a mistake" on the question in the app and we will look at it.
5. Not a government app
Gujarati GK Quiz is an independent app by PrepWiser. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of Gujarat, the Government of India, GPSC, GSSSB, the organisers of the Gujarat Gyan Guru Quiz (G3Q), or any other government body or exam authority.
6. Fair use
Use the app for your own learning. Please do not:
- copy, scrape or extract the question bank or other content in bulk, or republish, resell or share it as your own, whether in another app, website, book, channel or group;
- block, hide, alter, click fraudulently on or otherwise tamper with the ads, or use tools that generate fake ad views or taps;
- reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app, except as the law allows;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or disrupts the app or its servers.
Sharing your own score card, or telling a friend about a question, is fine.
7. Who owns what
The app, its design, artwork and stamps, and the question bank (questions, answer options, explanations and how they are selected and arranged) belong to PrepWiser. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app on your devices; they do not transfer any ownership to you.
Some facts are drawn from public sources such as Wikipedia. Facts themselves are not owned by anyone, and any material taken from such sources remains under its own licence.
8. Third-party services
The app uses Google AdMob for ads and Google Firebase for usage statistics and crash reports, and is distributed through Google Play. These services are run by Google under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for ads shown by third parties or for the websites or apps they link to.
9. No warranty
We work to keep the app accurate and running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the app or its content will be error-free, complete, current or always available, or that it will help you pass any exam.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from relying on the app's content, including exam results, missed opportunities or lost data. As the app is free, our total liability to you for any claim related to the app is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top, and for important changes we will also say so in the app's release notes. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in India.
13. Contact and grievances
For questions, complaints or to report content you think is wrong or unlawful, write to us. We aim to reply within a reasonable time and to act on grievances within the time the law requires.
